i'd like to tell everyone before i start posting the couple pictures that i have a thing for creating original characters with ties to previously existing characters, and this can mean that their previously unknown family members, counterparts, or even, in some cases, cross-genre/same genre love interests.

the same genre love interest example would be my username's namesake character, shadra arcana angelica shadow, who i originally created as an insane and evil character, literally the adopted daughter of the fallen archangel lucifer from biblical writings. after i watched hellsing, though, i thought she'd make a great love interest for alucard, despite the fact that one of her hobbies was to catch vampires and "play" with them because humans didn't last long enough for her to finish her games. i figured the only way i'd get that perfectly insane couple together would be a previously-unknown-to-alucard betrothal contract. since i thought out the scenario, and decided that shadra would, instead of continuing her "games", i figured i'd make shadra slightly less evil and have her join alucard at the hellsing organization.

as for a cross-genre love interest, look no further than my fullmetal alchemist character, rosa ishva. she's had a hardcore crush on gaara from naruto almost since day one. i actually made it this way when i realized that rosa's background story was a twisted fullmetal alchemist/vampiric version of gaara's, and i figured who better to make the insane basketcase's girlfriend than someone almost as much of an insane basketcase as him?
